I have owned this timer for a few months now. It is easy to clean and it works perfectly. It also looks and feels impossible to break. The one issue is with the beeping. When it gets to five minutes, it will emit a 'warning' alarm that sounds exactly like the regular alarm. The only difference is that the warning alarm only lasts long enough for you to get up and be fooled. The regular alarm has a different problem. When the regular alarm starts, you have about 5 seconds before the timer goes into crisis mode. It is hard to describe what crisis mode sounds like but you will know if you buy this timer. That being said, it is the best kitchen timer I have ever owned.
