I've used this mat about a dozen times and it's always worked perfectly. It keeps my cookies from baking unevenly and keeps the bottoms from burning. I used to use parchment paper but this is way better. Cleanup is easy as it's a nonstick surface and I no longer have to scrub my cookie sheets. I haven't had the issues of odor or expansion that a previous reviewer mentioned. Just a note - I wash my bakeware by hand so I can't attest to its ability to go in the dishwasher though I've read it can and expect it would do just fine.
