Customer Review: So Far, So Fabulous... :) It's my 2nd one!

The first KitchenAid stand mixer I had was inherited from my mom and dad and they got it for their wedding in 1956. It finally pooped out on me in 2001. That beauty had steady hard work from the beginning with my mom and it continued to work hard for me at least twice a week until it expired. I was gifted with a new one that same week (*whew! Would have felt lost and had sore arms without it) and it's in storage, so I bought this one a few weeks ago I'm back, baby, I'm back!
So far, I've only used it for cakes, cookies, etc. haven't tried any of the attachments, that will be soon. Unbelievable array of attachments/equipment, these mixers do SO much more than just mix my cookies! I will be grinding meat, but also whole fresh oranges and nuts and dried fruit with the meat grinder attachment. Pasta with the pasta attachment, and I haven't begun to explore the rest of the goodies!

This seems to be the best stand mixer and is sort of a staple in any cook's kitchen. Honestly I don't think I've ever heard of another brand's stand mixer being mentioned. I haven't tested various stand mixers but I think my KitchenAid 5-quart is awesome. It mixes well at various speeds. I don't think it's missing anything or needs any sort of improvement - as far as I can tell after baking a couple of pies and a cake. If you love to cook (which I do, and have recently developed an interest in baking) then you need this. I think every cook needs this stand mixer. If you're bothering to read these reviews for this item, I would think that means you're seriously considering buying it. Let me tell you that this is the stand mixer to get, so go ahead and get it. Go on, go ahead and get it. The sooner you order it, the sooner you'll have it and will be able to make all sorts of dishes and desserts:)Customer Review: What we were looking for - Lo que andabamos buscando

Hi, the KitchenAid mixer is one of the best acquisitions that my wife and I ever make. My wife it's happy because it's strong, stable and works perfect, and I'm happy because I got cakes, muffins and all class of desserts just from the oven. Just two things: Don't try too overload the motor and watch your weight, jejej.
P.D. The Metallic Chrome color it's beautiful and clean, you won't regret it.
Hola, esta batidora KitchenAid es una de las mejores adquisiciones que mi esposa y yo hemos hecho, ella esta feliz por que trabaja perfecto, es muy estable, fuerte y te reduce el trabajo a la mitad, y yo estoy feliz por que ahora tengo pasteles, bollitos y toda clase de postres recién horneados. Solo no trates de sobrecargar el motor y cuidado con tu peso, jejeje.
P.D. El color Metallic Chrome se ve muy bien y es muy limpio, no te arrepentirás.

My husband bought the Artisan Stand Mixer in Metallic Chrome for me on Jan.2 and it arrived on the 5th of Jan. I was undecided about color since I'd never seen this color in a store, but choose it because of price and the fact our other appliances are in stainless steel. It was a great choice, it goes very well with those other appliances, and cleans up great - no fingerprints. This is the color of my husband's 2011 light silver Honda Pilot, the color chart is not very helpful, hopefully Amazon could improve that, and I hope this helps someone.
My daughter has had a Kitchenaid stand mixer for years and when my old Sunbeam bit the dust this holiday season I researched all stand mixers on Amazon, Kitchenaid won. Made chocolate chip cookies, french bread, and orange pineapple cake, all with no problems, and very little noise. I'm very pleased.

I got this mixer after breaking at least 7 other mixers in about 3 years. I was reluctant to pay the price (although I had more than paid for it after buying seven other mixers). This mixer is amazing, I had no idea there was such a difference in quality. I have had $[...] mixers as well as $[...] mixers and this mixer beats them all. This mixer is a machine. It is real piece of equipment in both performance and weight. I love the plastic guard it allows my two daughters (ages 2&3)to help and since it is clear they can still see inside. I am amazed at how well this mixer actually mixes I know longer have to scrap the sides anymore. It is easy to switch attachments and to clean as well. I got a great price at amazon.com and with the mail in rebate I saved even more. If you have any reservation about the price don't it is worth every penny.
