Kitchenaid sometimes isn't what we expect. This toaster (returned) had two fatal flaws in our opinion: it toasted quite unevenly and the slots were not long enough for larger bakery bread slices. We are on a never-ending quest for a toaster that does toast the entire slice evenly. This must be a challenge to designers; this one failed the challenge.Customer Review: Toasterama

We have gone through numerous toasters over the years. I keep looking for one that doesn't take a week to make a piece of toast and actually browns it on BOTH sides. This Kitchen Aid is a keeper. It's simple, yet sturdy. My only complaint is it doesn't come with a lift for the hot toast. Burns the ole fingers. But will keep it for now.Customer Review: So Far, So Good

I bought this toaster for my husband after he complained that ours was "tinny, hard to clean, toasted unevenly and couldn't hold a bagel." This Kitchenaid product solves all of these problems. Its adjustable size slots hold any product upright for even toasting. We've only used it 10 or 12 times, but we like it so far.Customer Review: Great Toaster!!!

The KMTT200OB is a great toaster. A little larger than most two slice toasters but the sides stay cool! Even browning. A dial browning control that really works.... 1 is almost white and 9 is very dark. Comes with a bagel feature as well as a warming setting. If you have the couterspace, you'll love this toaster.Customer Review: Just what we needed

We needed to replace our toaster and this one works just fine. I researched a number of them. It has a higher wattage than our older one so that it toasts somewhat faster. As mentioned in other reviews, the slots could be a little longer but it works fine for regular toast and bagels. Nice clean design.
