The cover is real thick and makes a good cover for the 6 QT KitchenAid Mixer. The only problem I see with the Cover is it is a little short as to the cover to the counter it sets on. I think it could be a little deeper to cover the bottom tray where the pan sets on all the way down to the counter. After my mother-in-law bought hers I decided I wanted one too! This cover is perfect for covering up my KitchenAid Professional 6qt mixer. Fits over the mixer nicely even with the bowl in place. I have a small kitchen and the mixer needs to stay on the countertop. This cover helps keep it clean and not so overwhelmingly in sight. I purchased the KitchenAid stand mixer cover (Red) for a Christmas gift. I had tried several local department stores, but had no luck getting anything but black or white. We had been wanting a cover for a while so we could leave the blender on top of the fridge. Researched the proper cover needed and found it on Amazon. Ordered and was shipped promptly and arrived during the shipping period indicated. Cover is very nice and sturdy and looks good. Holds all the other mixing blades that came with the mixer and is exactly what we wanted.Customer Review: Keeps it clean

The most annoying feature of the mixer is that it doesn't fit in any of my cupboards. I'm forced to leave it out. Dust gathers. When I wipe it in a hurry, I leave marks. (Let's just say I'm not the best cleaner). It drives me crazy.
This cover really helps. Although dust accumulates on the cover, all I do is vacuum it quickly and move on. Woohoo!
