I considered this a must-have after purchasing my Kitchen Aid Pro 600. It serves its purpose - it keeps the unit clean and it looks nice on my counter (although the KA looks quite good by itself - but I don't want it to get dusty!)
The only complaint I have is that it does not fit well with the bowl attached. I realize it probably isn't intended to be used over the bowl but I don't have a lot of storage in my kitchen and I don't want to have to dig the bowl & attachments out every time I use the mixer, so I just keep everything together. Other than that, it is a nice addition to the mixer.

I bought this cover to go with my KitchenAid Artisan mixer, which is one of the smaller KitchenAid models. The cover is what you would expect, a padded, cloth bag that you stick over your mixer. It has a pouch on one side for holding accessories (the dough hook, etc.), except if you put something in there, it sags down a bit. I wish they made them in different sizes, although it could be more confusing to order, as the cover is much larger than my mixer really needs. If you are looking for a cover for your mixer, this is a good option, and one of the only options, actually!Customer Review: Does what it's suppose to

well sewn and exactly what you expect when you open the packaging. I wish it had a place to put the wish attachment when not in use (maybe a pocket on one of the ends? If you put it in the pockets that exist it puffs out a whole lot. Would also have been nice for it to have a hook on the top so I can hang it up on a kitchen hook when I am using the mixer instead of it sitting in a pile. I couldn't find a cover that had the exact features I wanted so I settled for this one and it will be just fine. Made of nice heavy material.Customer Review: Must have for Kitchen Aid Mixer

This cover is a must have for your Kitchen Aid Mixer. Yes, you can buy cute little covers on Ebay to match your kitchen decor, but chances are the covers on Ebay (mostly handmade) are not thick like this cover. I bought the tan/beige and it is a nice, neutral color. It is a nice thick cover, so even if you accidentally hit your mixer, it will not chip the paint. Also, there is a convienent pocket in the front to hold recipes, etc. I've seen the cover in Kohl's for $36.99. Amazon has it for $24.99.Customer Review: GREAT COVER

....at first when i bought this..i thought it was way to big. BUT...i then realized i am glad it is not a perfect fit..and has some room because you really need it! I love how the other parts to the mixer can fit right into the side. I have the 5-quart mixer..
I purchased the "black" one because i did not want my cover to get dirty. But these mixers are to expensive..and you need something to cover them. I feel secure that my mixer is now covered.
