I'm in love with this mixer/chopper! Everyone should have one of these! With the exception of a crazy amount of splatter if you aren't careful and happen to be using a very wide bowl, this thing is awesome! I've used it to make guacamole, smoothies, refried beans, salsa, pancakes, and the list goes on.... I've found endless uses for this when I'm in the kitchen and the easy clean-up means that you'll be reaching for this before any other appliance.Customer Review: I waited too long to buy this

This immersion blender is so easy to use! I can't believe I lived without it. I have spent 30 plus years using mixers and blenders that don't do half the job this immersion blender does. It is especially great for pureeing hot soups. I used to do this with my regular blender and blew the top off. Now I have no problem with hot or cold items. This item also works well to make dips, smooth mashed potatoes or smoothies. It is also easy to clean up.Customer Review: KitchenAid KHB300 hand blender

It makes the best mashed potatoes ever. It kind of takes over the kitchen, and you can put your food processor, mixer, and blender away.
My Italian friend and host told me in San Vito several years ago to get one of these, and I waisted several years waiting. You can't help but
love it. It does everything and is easily cleaned if you do it immediately (put the blades in some water and run for three or four pulses).

I had an older version of the same exact blender and found out that new and stronger is definitely not better. The chopper attachment works great for small jobs (chopping onions/making guacamole ect) and the whisk immersion blender attachments also get the job done. The one problem to note is that the high power of the motor it tends to make it a messy job (even after turning down the power to 1). I purchased this mainly for an immersion blender, but for the Thanksgiving weekend, I took it to our daughter's cabin in northern Wisconsin, where we celebrate with our family. I used the blender attachments for chopping turkey gizzards for the stuffing and then I used the whipping attachment to whip cream. The appliance worked better than I expected such a small appliance should. Lots of power and the variable speeds were great!
