I am very impressed with the KitchenAid Hand Blender. It works great. The chopper and wisk attachments are well worth the money. Clean-up is a breeze. All attachments but the handle are dishwasher safe. I can't believe I've managed this long without one. I plan to purchase a couple to give as gifts to my daughter and daughter-in-law.Customer Review: Excellent for soap making

I make homemade cold process soap. This item was recommended to me and I am pleased with its performance. The motor is powerful, the blade is stainless (resists heat during soap making), and the toggle on/off switch adds convenience and safety. I own one and gave this as gift to my daughter in law. Mine does not have all the accessories, but really wish that I had ordered them.
These blenders are great. Saves a lot of dish washing, works very well with strong motors.

The KitchenAid Hand Blender is the best one on the market. It has one great feature, and that is you can detach the blender from the motor for washing. Further, it has variable speeds, not just one or two. Finally, it has the most powerful motor I know of, so it gets the job done fast.Customer Review: Excellent tool!

Got this during a "Friday Sale" at Amazon for $59.99--tremendous price that I couldn't pass up! Have only used it several times but am very impressed with it. Very versatile, compact, sturdy. Gets great reviews in Cooks Illustrated. My kitchen is quickly becoming a "KitchenAid kitchen."
