My wife is a professional chef and she always used KitchenAid products in her school.
This is a very strong yet easy to handle blender, well balanced accesories -just what you need and nothing more. As with all hand blenders, you have to respect the indications provided (time tables for on-off periods depending on what are you blending) to have a long lasting helper.
No surprise we are very glad with the purchase.

I received one a few years ago. I use it almost every day. I recently gave one to a friend who was thrilled to receive it. I chop, mix, puree, blend, stir. You do have to use a bowl with plenty of room however for the whip attachment. It may be my technique but the liquids do over lap the bowl edge easily. This is a great food processor alternative for 1 or 2 people households. Clean up of parts is a breeze and it fits easily into a drawer.Customer Review: Love This

Great Product. Well made, powerful motor, great for chopping, mixing, etc. I use it to make smoothies for my daughter as well as puree soups and sauces. I chop onions/garlic etc when making dinner. I love it.
This blender replaced my Braun, which broke after a few years. So far, I find it to be a much more powerful and better made machine. I hope this one has the same or better life span as the Braun did!

This blender has real power and despite the variable speed, you will need to pay close attention to the suction power when you get close to the bottom of the container as well as the splash if you rise too high. Once you master that, you have a great kitchen tool. I suspect that if you pay close attention when attaching the different attachments, you can forego some of the gear meshing issues that some report.Customer Review: Well worth purchasing.

Although I haven't had the chance to use the hand blender very much, when i have, I've loved the outcome. It has speed options ranging from 1 to 9, this is a great plus. My storage space is limited, and it stands up safely in the mixers mixing cylinder. I keep it in the corner by the coffee maker. It's a handsome enough kitchen appliance that it looks quite fine keeping it stored on the counter top.
