Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of KitchenAid KFP740WH 9-Cup Food Processor, WhiteCustomer Review: Really like this Summary: 5 Stars
It is a KitchenAid so it weighs as much as a small tank and costs as much.
That said, it is sturdy, does the job. I don't think it will break even if I tried.
Some at times will say in their reviews that it didn't work out of the box or that they had problems after a short time. As many of these as they sell and make that will happen form time to time but it has been my experience that KitchenAid is quality stuff and the processor is the right size for us and does the job.
Customer Review: Kitchenaid Food Processor Summary: 5 Stars
We saw this 9-cup food processor in a Dept store for $168.00 (not including 7% sales tax). My wife saw some of the TV chefs using the prosessor, and they highly recommended it. I got it through Amazon for $30 less, no tax, and it was delivered FedEx to our front steps within 4 days of placing the order...a full week before it was supposed to be here. The machine is excellent, and works as advertised. This is a robust, well-built machine, and I expect it to last a lifetime.
Customer Review: Not too big, not too small - just the right size Summary: 5 Stars
This is our first food processor and my wife and I have been sitting on the fence on what size to get. She wanted smaller to save counter space, I wanted larger, just in case... We could not be happier with the 9 cup. It provides the larger motor and greater power that I wanted, yet doesn't take up near the space of a 14 cup. Does everything we want and more. I could not recommend a better choice for a first food processor.
Customer Review: Good Food Processor Summary: 4 Stars
Likes:
- Very quiet compared to our last food processor.
- Powerful, no problem doing pizza dough.
- Very solid construction, however this makes the base very heavy.
Dislikes:
- Short center shaft will leak if you have more than a few cups of liquid.
Overall this food processor is so much better than our old one. The low liquid capacity is our only gripe so far.
Customer Review: Best processor EVER! Summary: 5 Stars
There is nothing like this food processor. It is heavy duty and you can tell how powerful the motor is the first time you turn it on. I was shocked, however, at how QUIET it actually is. When you feel how heavy it is, you'll think, man I bet this beast is loud....but then you turn it on and it purrs! Amazing product. I'll always buy KitchenAid from now on....no more Cuisinart for me.
