Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of KitchenAid KFP720OB 7-Cup Food Processor with 3-Cup Mini Bowl, Onyx BlackCustomer Review: Easy to use, Easy to clean, great product! Summary: 5 Stars
I am very happy with this food processor. I like the fact there are two work bowls. It is easy to clean in the dishwasher. I purchased this mainly to puree veggies and it has been very dependable thus far. It was also useful for making pesto. It is easy to operate and has good safety features. I have yet to use it for chopping as I use my Pampered Chef Food Chopper for that.
Customer Review: KitchenAid 7 cup - good but leaves chunks Summary: 4 Stars
It's very quiet, feels tough. I would actually like a slow speed, as well as pulse and on. It goes together well, although the main bowl is not as big as I expected when you consider overflow from the middle spindle. Sometimes it doesn't chop all the food until it's pulverised - I couldn't get coarse chopped tomatoes that didn't have chunks, but overall I like it.
Customer Review: Nice good processor Summary: 4 Stars
I had a similar model and it lasted for four years. I tend to kill food processors and this has been the most sturdy one I have found yet. It doesn't wobble in use. Makes nice hummus, chopped liver, and grates cheese faster than any thing else. Also grates potatoes and other hard vegetables quickly. Nuts, no problem. Haven't used the smaller mini bowl yet.
Customer Review: Works like a pro series Summary: 5 Stars
I've only had it a month, but I've managed to make about 50 pounds of dough, 20 different salsas, and many other creations. I always put my new toys to the test right away to make sure that their going to make it. This one kicks but and I have not had any issues. The 3 cup mini bowl works great for herbs and garlic!
Customer Review: Forget B&D, Cuisinart, this is the REAL DEAL! Summary: 5 Stars
KitchenAid is the best, hands down. Pay the few extra dollars and get a good unit. All the rest are cheap Chinese junk. My wife went through so many cheapies, I decided to get her a nice one. The price we paid for all thr other ones, plus the frustration, were many times the purchase price of the KitchenAid.
