Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of KitchenAid KFP720OB 7-Cup Food Processor with 3-Cup Mini Bowl, Onyx BlackCustomer Review: Works Great! Summary: 5 Stars
I checked out a lot of reviews on various websites and asked my friends about their experiences with food processors before deciding on this model. I'm very happy with my choice. It works great and I love how quiet it is when operating. The small size is great for my family. Be careful not to fill it too high with liquids they will spill out during processing. Since the processor is not very large I have not yet used the mini bowl. Best of all... you can put all the pieces (except the base) in the dishwasher for easy clean up!
Customer Review: Great little food processor! Summary: 5 Stars
OK, I'll keep this short...
This isn't a full-featured machine by any means. However, what it does it does very well. It is also very easy to clean in the dishwasher.
The only little niggle I have about it is that the opening where you stuff in the food is a little smaller than I would like, but I think that's just part of the deal because it's after all not a full sized machine.
I do think it will last forever though. Overall it's well worth the money.
Customer Review: solid performer Summary: 4 Stars
The processor arrived from Amazon promptly and was well packaged. It has a powerful motor that does not labor in any task thus far. Ground ham for ham salad was a breeze and the pulse control button is perfect for controlling the amount of processing. Heavy base equals powerful motor...other's complaints about this issue are misplaced. The instructions imply that a juicer is included which is misleading. Highly ranked by consumer reports for those needing 7 cup size and I agree.
Customer Review: Better than Cuisinart!!! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this food processor after I fought with the Cuisinart company for months for an exchange with one of their products. The KitchenAid is so much more quiet to operate than any other food processor I have used. They include a small 3-cup bowl with this model but you have to put the small bowl inside the big bowl to use it. Now I have two dirty bowls instead of one. Other than that, it works well, processes quickly and is easy to clean.
Customer Review: good product for these times Summary: 4 Stars
I have used the Braun food processor for years but could no longer replace the disc carrier, which breaks often. So I went searching and this seemed a reasonable next generation/price. So far I like it ok. One of my favorite uses is to grate fresh parmesan; this process leaves something to be desired--more small chunks than good grating of hard cheese. Will keep working on it. Good pulse performance; good pesto results; good pastry mixing.
