After less than about 10 uses the safety mechanism no longer engages. The little peg doesn't go far enough into the hole to get it to turn on, if you know what I mean. LOVE this little chopper!! Quick and easy clean-up. I chop up peppers and onion and store them for quick egg white omlets for breakfast. Takes up very little room on my counter. Great for salad dressings. I'm sure I'll find lots of uses for it.

I've been wanting a small processor like this for a long time.
I saw this for a great price and made the purchase. I am very happy with the performance of this unit and ease of use. It cleans up nice and stores under the cabinet too.
