I'm a beginner in the cooking department and I don't use it much so I can't really comment on easy of use or how it rates in comparison to similar products.
All I can say is that I was very impressed when I received it. I was used to my mom's old wooden rolling pins and this is not only easier to use but also far more stylish. The quality is very good, it looks and feels great.

I bake pies alot and let me tell you there's nothing like having the crust stick to the pin. It doesn't happen with this one. It's the most comfortable roller I have ever used not to mention that it doesn't stick. You can't go wrong with this item.Customer Review: shipping

I have to say, I am not a fan of this non-stick rolling pin. My pie crusts *do* stick to the pin, but I can't flour it because of the non-stick coating! I'm going back to a standard wooden or marble roller.Customer Review: My mom loves this

I gave this to her for her birthday, she loves it, says it is heavy enough that she doesn't have to push down much and it doesn't stick.
