Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of KitchenAid Gourmet Essentials Hard Anodized Nonstick 12-Piece Cookware Set

Customer Review: KitchenAid Gourmet Essentials 12-Pc Hard-Anodized Cookware Set A+++
Summary: 5 Stars

I would love to write a 20 page review on these pots and pans, however you're supposed to limit your review... So simply put, these things are incredible!!! The only problem with them is it is next to impossible to make grilled cheese, simply because the pans are impossible to get anything stuck on them and when you go to flip the grilled cheese they slide all over the place. All joking aside, they cook amazingly even and quick. They are super lightweight and also really easy to clean. I got these at an amazing deal and they are by far the best pots and pans I have ever owned! I highly recommend this cookware set!

Customer Review: Classy pot rack for a reasonable price
Summary: 4 Stars

We have an "upscale" home but, like many people, have become extremely cost conscious. We had been wanting a pot rack for our kitchen. The pot racks in a kitchen store in the Medford area were in the $400 - $500 range and out of our current desired price range. The on-line store from which we got the pot rack from Amazon looked good, but, of course, pictures can be deceiving. However, the pot rack we received looks and feels like a quality item and looks great in our kitchen. A friend of ours has a pot rack that looks very much the same--and she paid much more for it. We are very happy with this product.

Customer Review: Best Value
Summary: 5 Stars

If you can find this set for only $149 (with free shipping) as I did, I don't believe that you can find a better value anywhere. I have not had mine long, so I cannot comment on longterm durability, but I can say that the non-stick coating is far superior to the T-Fal set that I have replaced. Other reviews have really summed it up. The only con that I can see is the size of the smallest sauce pan -only 1qt. I don't find that useful for much. Other than that, I highly recommend this set. PS. My first choice would have been the Analon, as the size of most pans are larger, but they are at least $100 more.

Customer Review: a waste of money effort and time
Summary: 1 Stars

I had been wanting to buy stick free cookware for years. I read all the reviews for this Kitchen Aid product and thought I was home free. The first time I cooked in a small pot it warped. "OK!" I said, "Maybe I put it in the sink with cool water, OK, I made the mistake." Today I see that the PAINT is peeling off the inside of each pan where the handles are joined to the inside of the pan. I HAVE BEEN EATING THE PAINT. DIGUSTING. I have owned these for a few months. I am throwing them in the garbage so as not poison anyone else. Back to stainless steel and ironware. Do no waste your money!

Customer Review: Great set for a great price!
Summary: 5 Stars

I replaced some old nonstick pans that I've had for years with this kitchenaid set. What a great set, I really like this cookware.Kitchenaid Gourmet Essentials Hard Anodized 12 Piece Cookware Set They are heavy duty & easy to clean, food comes right off. I shopped around before deciding which brand to get and these were the best value for the money. Thank you to those who wrote in your reviews about not using the porcelain pans on a ceramic top stove. I had no idea and almost purchased those pans.
