In our previous home, my cutting board was located on the counter above a slide out garbage bin. It made scraping the cutting board clear of scraps a breeze. In our new home after we remodel the kitchen, there will not be a pull-out garbage bin and I was looking for a substitution for the kitchen work area. I was going to make something myself and then found the Scrap Trap. I am very pleased with it. Quality is good and it fits nicely on a kitchen drawer front. My stainless steel scraper fits easily into the holder on the front of the bin.
When I cook, I like to keep a clean area and this little tool helps a lot. I think its a great addition to any kitchen, especially for the price.
