I've been seaching for a quality clock for some time now.
I'm a cat person and I have a orange tabby, so this clock makes perfect sense to me. I like the fact that it is made in the USA. The plastic is of high quality. It is nice and thick. It is fun and addictive to watch the eyes and tail move.
Some people have given it bad reviews because the tail doesn't move for them. From my experience, I have found that it is essential to use a leveler. The clock needs to be perfectly leveled (centered), and perpedicular with gravity. I think this is by design, that the mechanism used to power the tail and eyes must use as little electricity as possible to conserve the battery life. So if your kitty is not leveled, it will not work as designed. Once it is leveled, just give the tail a little nudge and it will not stop until it runs out of battery.
This really is a great clock when setup properly.
