This was purchased as a gift for my spouse as we explore Spanish and especially Basque cooking and food. Although only used once thus far, it performed well in making a shrimp and chicken paella for five people. The glass lid is particularly good and we are already envisioning how we can use the pan for other, not necessarily Spanish/Basque dishes. Easy to handle and makes a great service piece with the appropriate heat-proofing under the pan bottom at the dining table.
