I have stored my eggs in their store-bought carton in the fridge for many years. But this ceramic storage dish is a cut above. No, it doesn't fit in the egg compartment of the fridge, but I much prefer seeing this container on a shelf when I open the fridge. I've actually read that storing eggs in the door of the fridge is not wise as it is not cold enough, but I've never had a problem with that. I just love this container because it is so convenient and so delightful to look at! Love it!
