The bamboo fork/spoon is ideal for those kids that still are mastering the technique of keeping the food in the utensil while putting it in the mouth. My son got frustrated when the food fell out of the spoon and I decided to check the amazon's reviews and run into this fork/spoon. I bought two. One for traveling and the other to keep it at home. I lost this summer the traveling one and the other that is at home is the one my son uses most of the time. The highlight of the double utensil is the material that holds the food due to his dry-porous surface. It is not big but works for the purpose of self-feeding. I highly recommended it to those who want to keep the kids entertained and happy.

Half fork, half spoon. It's a spork! Sized right for smaller hands, the perfect go anywhere, use anytime utensil. Made from organically grown bamboo, nature's remarkable renewable resource. Hand wash in warm soapy water. Not for dishwasher or microwave use.Note: For larger hands, look for the Bambu Large Spork. It measures a bit larger at 6 inches.
