I love this thermos and so does my daughter. I use it to send her hot water so she can brew her own tea in daycare (she is 1.5yrs old). She absolutely loves making her own tea and after talking to her teacher, I know that the water remains hot from 7am to lunch time. She often has to let it sit with the lid open to let it cool off a bit. My daughter squeals with joy when she sees this thing because she knows she's about to have some warm tea. Not only is it efficient at keeping liquids hot, it is also a healthy alternative to the plastic thermos that flood the market. Get it, you won't regret it.Customer Review: Okay...

I love that this is BPA free and it is light weight and we really like the fun color. However I am disapointed in it overall. I boil water and let the water sit in it for 30 minutes before exchanging it with food. The kids (5 and 6)say that their food is just barely warm, sometimes cold by the time they get to eat it about 4 hours later. I tried it myself and totally agree. The only food that seems to stay warm (not hot) is soup. I may have to purchase something else or it is going to be a long school year of cold lunches.Customer Review: How hot?

My 5-year old uses this for his kindergarten lunches. So far, we've sent him to school with pasta that we heat up in the morning and put into the thermos. From his reports, it seems like the pasta doesn't stay hot -- just barely warm. I think I have to do my own test of this thermos and see how effective it is.
