We got this to hold some of our 2 year olds books that were always laying all over the living room. It put together easily and well, and looks wonderful in our living room instead of like something out of a kids room. She loves having books at her height in easy view and keeps the little tiny books in the bottom shelf. So far we are very happy with this product! My only wish that it would come in another color than natural that might not show dirt as easily.Customer Review: Cute-Child really likes it!

It's a cute bookshelf for larger books. I don't want to put smaller books in it because they may be forgotten since the compartments are so deep. My Daughter (2) really likes it. What I like is that it is not pink, and doesnt take up alot of space. The only problem I have had is with the assembly. The little wrench you get with the product is not that great. Bookshelf is good for the price. It holds about 3 big books per sling (there are 4) or 5 small books. It is perfect for a child's small room. IT was easy to assemble. No need to use a power drill as other reviews have suggested. It's easier to assemble with a partner who can hold the rods in place while you screw them in. Pretty sturdy. This slim sling book shelf is really growing on me! I needed a place to put my two toddler's growing book collection, but I've discovered it is a great place to stash their cardboard puzzles. I put the pieces in a Ziploc bag and all the boards fit neatly. I have approximately 30 books and about 12 puzzles in this sling! Very pleased...Sturdy and attractive. The bookshelf is sturdy and looks very nice. The pockets are deep so it's better for taller books. Although, my daughter doesn't mind reaching down into the pockets to find her books, the titles don't show. We were annoyed that when we were screwing in the bottom board the wood cracked on both sides! We were even very careful. This didn't happen with the dowels, just the board at the back.
