We bought this unit as a gift for our "coffee loving" father (in-law). He loves getting coffee fast and easy--as he drinks lots of instant coffee. At my house we have the Keurig Platinum Addition and he (father in-law) really liked the coffee it makes. So, we got this unit (Special Edition) for him. I will say it's not as big or nice as our Platinum unit, but it brews the same quality coffee, and its awesome coffee! I will say--it's a little loud when heating the water. That's the only thing I can say negative about this unit. If you are wanting easy, fast, best tasting coffee--you will love having a Keurig!
