this has a charming "hand-poured" look and may work ok over a gas burner,etc.but the surfaces are not flat,preventing this from being a good interface between the flat cast-iron top of a single-burner hot plate and my antique flat corning ware.it makes me want to write a 5-star review of my Lodge Logic 10 1/2 " round griddle,but 63 other people have already done so.when in doubt,stick with Lodge.my keilen may already be on its way to a yard sale near you.Customer Review: LOVE IT!

This is perfect for tortillas I press myself. It's also great for store bought tortillas for quesadillas. I'm sure it would be perfect for anything I put on it, but I just got it 3 weeks ago, so I haven't tried everything. The best thing about it is its weight. A cast iron skillet is too heavey for me, but this is not too heavy at all. The second best thing is the price, which was way less than a heavey skillet I would hardly use.Customer Review: Love real cookware
