I bought this after ruining many spatulas/spoons in the heat from the stove or the pot.
This works great and still is as new as when I bought it.
It has a very long handle which is great for stirring in large pots as you do not burn your wrist when stirring by hitting the edge of the pot.

I bought this to give as a gift. Considering they run $10+, I think free was an excellent deal. Normally I don't like silicone bakeware, as it leaches chemicals into your food when cooked. But since this won't be used in the oven, it should be fine. I may decide to keep this for myself.Customer Review: Its a plastic spoon.

For the ten dollar price, I expected more. But, this spoon compares to some other $3 to $5 spoons that I could have bought at WalMart, and it is smaller than most of those.
I guess it is priced higher because it was made in Germany and not China.

I love this tool - it can't be warped it seems. I use it to make scrambled eggs, stir very hot things - it doesn't melt when it makes prolonged contact with the bottom of the pan. All in all it was a great impulse purchase!Customer Review: Great spoon for $.99.

For the price of $.99, it's a great buy. I would not pay $10.00 for it, though. I like that it's 12-inches long, because it's convenient when stirring hot sauces.
