Good length and solid construction. The locking mechanism is a must have on tongs if you want to set them down on the stove without having one end accidentally go into a burner. The silicone can handle high heat but it has too much "give" in it when trying to pick up something heavy or greasy.Customer Review: with a locking device it would've been perfect

I ordered this without noticing it did not have a lock on it. It is a great tool, but takes up too much space if its not locked when not in use (I solved the problem by wrapping a rubber band around it to keep it closed when storing)Customer Review: Nice Tongs!

These tongs handle well and the pull-to-stay-closed feature is handy. My other tongs spring open in the drawer. Keep a firm grip when flipping, and soon you will love these tongs too.Customer Review: good product.

I really like these and the silicone tips are not flimsy at all. They are easy to clean and don't scratch my nonstick pans. I wish they were just a couple of inches shorter.
