Over the last 20 years, we have tried every machine out there. This Krups makes a great tasting cup of coffee AND serves it hot. The aroma button allows you to make only 4 cups of coffee without sacrificing the robust taste. BUT do NOT use the aroma button on anything larger that the mfg recommendation. We ruined our coffee maker by flooding it. BUT we found it on Amazon for 48% cheaper than we paid! A good purchase and a great value for people who actually like the taste of coffee.Customer Review: Stupidly Impractical Design

Don't be fooled by its good looks and brand name. The way this coffeemaker is designed makes it very awkward to pour water into it because the lid stays at a rigid 90 degrees, partially OBSTRUCTING you from pouring water out of the carafe into its narrow water chamber. Once you've cleaned up all the water you've unavoidably spilled on the kitchen counter and added extra water from small cups (or a Turkey Baster!) to make up the difference, it will brew you a decent pot. The button which opens the lid broke after about a year. You'll save the life of this under engineered button if you press down on the top first before you press the button, then hire a coffee monitor to enforce the protocol for all who enter. The warming plate collapsed after, oh I guess 6 months. This is a nice machine in design and operation, but my experience tells me they could use a little more thought in material use. After doing a lot of research hoping to find a coffee maker that makes good coffee and also looks great on the kitchen counter this is the appliance I chose. It was a good choice! I've had a Krups for years and it still makes a good pot of coffee but I wanted a newer design for my new kitchen. Coffee makers typically all look alike and have their pros and cons. This one is a stylish, modern appliance that delivers on it's purpose......a great cup of coffee!!Customer Review: Do not buy this coffeemaker

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. NONE OF KRUPS MANY RETAILERS CARRIES A REPLACEMENT FOR THE GLASS CARAFE OF THE KM4065 -- NOR DO THEY KNOW HOW TO ORDER ONE. THE KRUPS ONLINE SHOP DOESN'T CARRY ONE. IF YOU BREAK THE CARAFE, YOU HAVE TO PURCHASE THE COMPLETE MACHINE AGAIN!
