Customer Review: AMAZING COFFEE!!!!!! THE BEST I HAVE EVER TRIED!

I am a true coffee addict and, even though I own an espresso machine, I decided to get a drip coffee maker as well to enjoy a fast cup of coffee in the morning. Just like one of the reviewers before me, I thought there should not be any difference between the quality of coffee different drip coffee makers produce. So, initially I was focused solely on aesthetics, not paying much attention to what I considered pricy and valueless "bells and whistles". As it turned out, I was wrong. Having looked at what felt like a million different coffee makers, at first I chose a very simple, traditional one. It was very well-constructed and easy to operate, had everything people miss in this Krups model, looked BEAUTIFUL on my countertop and cost less. In other words, it was perfect in every respect but one.. it did not make the best coffee. The coffee just did not taste very good, and for some time I tried to overlook it because of how pleasing it was to the eye and how easy it was to use. However, after drinking bitter coffee for a couple of weeks, I decided to buy a fancier, modern coffee maker just to compare it to the one I already had. I was very sceptical, because these "new generation" coffee makers do not appeal to me visually. However, at least the Krups model looked like a quality machine, which is more than I can say of most other modern coffee makers in its price range. So, I figured I would simply return it, if the coffee it made was not substantially better. To determine whether it was better, I put exactly the same amount of exactly the same coffee at exactly the same time in both machines and, once the coffee was ready, poured it into two identical mugs and conducted a taste test. I was astounded by the difference. I have to admit, even though I own an espresso machine, I could never truly understand what people meant by "full-bodied" coffee... I could never even understand what people meant by saying that a certain coffee maker makes "great coffee", since I figured that it is not about the coffee maker, but rather - about the beans you use.. that is until I tasted that first Krups batch and compared it to the other coffee maker's. There was absolutely no comparison. Even though I still prefer the way my other coffee maker looks and works, after this moment of truth, it has to go, while this Krups one definitely stays! The coffee it makes is so amazing, I really hope it lasts (and it looks like it was built to last)! I will update my review if it does not, but so far I am so happy with this machine, I could not even think of getting a different one!
