Bought this electronic scale to replace an inaccurate mechanical scale. Chose this model because of:
a) Accuracy of+/- 1g
b) Runs on regular AAA batteries
c) Nice appearance with flat glass top for easy cleaning
I tested it with all kinds of objects big and small to verify the +/- 1g repeatability . It passed the test. The tare function is really convenient to zero out accurately the weight of any bowl I put on the machine.
Since I just got this machine, I don't know how reliable it is over the long run. I hope the precision sensors hold their accuracy over time.

The scale's innovative touch sensitive buttons are very easy to operate. The large backlit LCD display is easy to read from a distance. The scale measures in 0.1-ounce (imperial) and 1-gram (metric) increments for accuracy up to the 11lb (5000g) capacity of the scale. The scale features a Tare or offset function for weighing multiple ingredients. The elegant black glass platform is easy to clean and durable. This scale measures 9.1 inches by 5.9 inches by 0.8 inches.The KINTREX SCL0640 uses readily available AAA batteries.
