For the price (about $10) this Wok Lid will meet expectations of service. I was unimpressed with its lightweight, made of such thin aluminum that I'm surprised it didn't arrive crumpled up in a ball. But like I mentioned, it was only about $10 and if I am careful in my handling of it, the Lid will meet my needs as a wok cover. Is "Phenolic" just another word for plastic? The knob does stay cool. I wonder, judging by the gauge of aluminum used, if Joyce Chen's other products (such as the Wok) would be worth purchasing?
