I love this steamer. super fast for boiling, double layers save time. If you get hard boiling going the lid moves around a bit, it has a small hole to vent pressure, but either lower heat a bit or keep an eye on it. This is a good price for a nice pot that I can use without steamer attachments to boil corn or whatever. Great steamer, I have to get use to it because the vegetables retain the color better with this steamer than the little contraption I'm use to. It takes a little getting use to, but in no time you can figure out when the food is ready before overcooking,unless you're one of those people who like it soft.

This dutiful 3-tier stainless-steel cookware is a family-size steamer, a stock pot, a colander and it's built to last a lifetime. The 6 quart pot has an encapsulated aluminum clad bottom for quick and even heating. The two perforated steamer iserts are stainless steel too. Has a tempered glass lid and all handles have soft grip coating. Steam large foods or entire meals, and the stainless steel design is better than bamboo steamers because it won't wear out. Since steaming requires no oil, it's wonderful for todays fat-free diets, steaming also retains foods natural vitamins and minerals.Steamers
