Customer Review: Relatively perfect unit but it lasted less than 2 years.
Summary: 4 Stars
This unit has some many really nice features(everything I wanted anyway):
1)A resonably viewable clock (analog)
2)Delay setting up to 24 hours-(great if you want to set up your coffe the night before and have it waiting for you when you get up. Also useful for after-dinner coffee, etc.)
3)alert for when coffee is done That YOU CAN TURN OFF if you don't want the noise.
4)brew strength setting: strong and regular (I only use strong, so no idea what regular tastes like)
5)warmer temp that adjusts from "-" to "+". Not sure how this measures in actual degrees but about 2/3 to plus was plenty hot for me.
6) permanent gold filter and replaceable water filter
7) well-designed carafe-no drips
8) self-cleaning cycle(fill resevoir with water or vinegar & water and push cleaning button
I had no problems with leaks, and the coffee always tasted good.
My only complaint is that the unit lasted a little under 2 years, but for the price,a really good coffee maker. I will probably buy another one. I gave it 4 stars, but I'd actually give it 4.5 if I could.
