Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Jaccard Supertendermatic 48-Blade TenderizerCustomer Review: Super Easy Summary: 5 Stars
I used this to tenderize some steak recently and I was delighted with the results. It was easy to use and it enabled the meat to absorb the marinade so much better. The meat was not only tender but full of flavor. The tenderizer was also easy to clean, I just put it on the top shelf of the dishwasher. I would highly recommend this product.
Customer Review: Yup, it works Summary: 5 Stars
You might think this sort of kitchen gadget is all hype and doesn't really work. I read the reviews and took the plunge, but I was still skeptical. The first thing I did was to eat a piece of broiled flank steak like it was hamburger, literally fork tender. Everyone should have one of these things, especially for summer grilling.
Customer Review: bacterial contamination possible from mechanical tenderizing Summary: 1 Stars
Although I've owned and used one of these for many years, I've stopped using it after reading a few articles that dealt with the introduction of bacteria from mechanical tenderizing. If you're interested in the subject, I found several papers after doing a search with the following words: contamination mechanical tenderizer meat.
Customer Review: Love me tenderizer! Summary: 5 Stars
Well made product, very easy to use and should last a long time under normal use. Slick design with self storage and cleaning isn't difficult.
I wasn't sure if the process really works but after buying a cheap cut of meat and using the tenderizer it was pretty good. For the price, I would recommend it to all my friends.
Customer Review: Very happy to buy a replacement Summary: 4 Stars
I have been happy with this tenderizer for several years even though the screws holding the blades in place would loosen but after I re-tighten them the device continued to work. Today I lost a screw. Even if I find it in the drawer I can't figure out how to reassemble it. Maybe my new one won't have the same problem.
