If you live in an area with a Central Market, get these jars. Then go to CM and get the bulk spices you need. Like, 80 cents will fill a jar with some exotic spice that would cost you $5 at Randalls (or Kroger). (OK, maybe I'm off a bit on the economics, but NOT BY MUCH!) Don't forget to get the labels--they're a gem also. Then get your butt out to the garage and build you a nice rack.
Oh, yeah: the jars were delivered in pristine condition and in a very timely fashion.

Just echoing what most others have said here (except for the one screwball who one-starred'em...). These work fine, they're standard size (we can fit 6 perfectly across in our "Spectrum Wall-Mountable Black Scroll Spice Rack" which we also ordered), and some have smaller holes and some have bigger. I would also echo the advice another reviewer gave--buy two sets! I figured 16 would be enough, but here I am, not a year later, ordering another set (and another spice rack).Customer Review: in general, I'm pleased

I requested these as a birthday gift as few of the spice bottles I had fit in a new spice rack I'd just purchased, but these bottles fit perfectly. It's also nice that there are a variety of sifters - I would prefer more with the smaller holes but that's just personal preference. As others have mentioned, these do not come with the labels as advertised and as far as I can tell, do not actually hold 3.5oz, more like 2oz.Customer Review: Organized my spice cabinet on the cheap!

I buy my spices in bulk from Central Market since it is cheaper that way. But I needed a better way to store them than the plastic baggies that I fill at the store. So, I found these glass jars and I'm absolutely thrilled. The price was right and the quality is good. They're plain, so I bought labels to personalize them. My spice cabinet is now prepped and ready for serious cooking!Customer Review: Pleased overall with them.

The jars shipped quickly, and fully intact, and they look great up on my wall. There was a nice selection of large- and small-holed caps (and the bottles were compatible with some of the caps and even some of the grinder-top lids from my original spice bottles). I wish they had been 2 ounce capacity instead of 1.5, because they don't QUITE fit a full jar of store-bought spice in them.
