I love the look of these knives, the way they cut through my steak and the fact that I paid under $20 for the set of 8 . The reason I give them a 3-star rating has to do with the design of the handles.
The handles on these steak knives are vary narrow and even in my small hands they feel awkward. The width is about 1/3" which to some may feel classy, but to me just feels 'not quite right'. While you really don't have to get a death grip on them to cut a pork chop, it's nice to have a utensil fit comfortably in your hand when you use it. Certainly a personal preference, but something to consider if you are looking at purchasing this set.
As for the 'stainless' debate...they seem stainless to me. (I hand wash and dry them after every use.)
