I chose this knife after reviewing dozens of bread knives and finally took a chance because of the great price. I was not disappointed. It slices velvety cake or airy artisanal breads without crushing. My only advice is that if too much crumb sticks to the blade, then the bread is too hot to cut. But, hey, who doesn't want bread hot from the oven?Customer Review: Works fine

Unbeatable for the price. I cut everything with it, bread, fruit, vegetables... At first there were small residues of metal between the different 'teeth' and I though that it did not come in proper working order. But once you manage to clean that out (which does require a bit of effort), it cuts as it should without leaving any metal residue.Customer Review: Greatest knife I ever used.

Well i was looking for a good knife for a brunch i was having. I was making locs and stake. I tryed 2 other knifes but they just couldn't cut it. So before giving up i gave it one last try. It cuts anything like a hot knife thourgh butter. It saved me and it can save you too. If yor looking for a high quilty peice of cookware this is it.Customer Review: Great Knife!!

I had never used a bread knife before I purchased this as an addition to my kitchen. I was very pleasantly surprised at the ease that this knife cut through loaf of crusty sun dried tomato bread. Just the right texture to increase the surface so toasting really works well, without an excess of crumbs. And the price was excellent.Customer Review: it's a bread knife and it works...that's all

no complaints, no praises...other than it cuts bread. When I shopped, this seemed like the best priced bread knife. It works perfectly, but if there's cheaper out there...unless you're set on the looks of this one, get the cheaper one. They're bread knives - they have to be very good to do what they're supposed to do.
