I bought a set of these mainly for my husband, who is my chief kitchen assistant. These scissors are great! We use the largest pair for trimming fat from meat and poultry--and they are so much better than a knife. I liked them so much, I got another set for a dear neighbor as a Christmas gift. this scissor set is not as sturdy as i was expecting from a henckels product. the all purpose scissors work well but the pruning shears are very light weight and the open /close mechanism is very cheap. i dont htink they will last too long. probably why they were less expnsive for same set in other mags.Customer Review: Not bad for the price, but a couple didn't hold their edge well.

Nice, all purpose set ... perhaps I'm hard on my scissors, as I use them extensively for multiple tasks. They didn't hold their edge as well as I'd like.
Arrived in a timely manner, well packed. Recommended if you don't put them through a lot of use.

A nice basic scissor set for the home. Not the same quality as the top brands, but you aren't paying top brand price either. The scissors were all sharp and have done the job around the home just fine so far!
