This bagel miter is a good quality bagel "gripper" and it looks good. It grips/holds the bagel in place so that it is easier to cut the bagel without the risk of the bagel slipping out of your hand and cutting yourself! I am really pleased with this product. We love bagels at our home so we buy about 24 fresh, hot bagels often and cut them ourselves, put them into seperate bags for storage and freeze them so that we can enjoy them whenever we want. This bagel cutter has been a very useful tool in our kitchen!
