This little timer is perfect for my meditation practice. It is small, unobtrusive, and completely trustworthy. I put it barely touching my leg, and forget about it. It has several settings for vibrate, and at the gentlest it nudges me to end a session. (It has many more functions than I need, but one never knows...at some point I may need them!)
It was inexpensive compared to most "meditation timers" and it works well. What more could you ask for??
Description of Invisible Clock
The Invisible Clock-II has a silent or an audible alert, with a switch on the side so you can choose which alert you want. So you can keep time discreetly. Its small so you can easily wear it on your waist with the garment clip, or keep it in your pocket. It can be set in just about any way imaginable so you can time just about anything. It has 5 Powerful timing features, plus a stopwatch, adjustable vibration intensity and beep volume, a quick release belt clip, illuminated display, auto button lock to protect timing events in process, and uses one AAA battery which lasts for about a year (has backup to save settings while changing battery), and auto-daylight savings time adjustment. Uses: General Reminders; Meditation - the vibration can be set to low, medium or high - on low, it is perfect for meditation as it is very quiet; ADD/ADHD; Special Needs Kids its often used for kids who need help remembering certain things such as paying attention in class; Wake Up Without Waking Your Partner place it under your pillow and it is very effective for this; Medication Reminder - use the 12 alarms for medication reminders; Psychotherapy or Meetings use the Meeting Timer to see clients without ever needing to look at the clock; Doctors and Chiropractors Use the Custom Timer; Talks and Presentations - use the Timer or the Custom Timer for timing talks; Learning New Habits - use the Invisible Clock for learning new habits by setting the Timer on repeat to any time; Game Timer some games need an exact timer that can be set in second increments the Invisible Clock has this feature; Travel Alarm with its light weight, lighted display and choice of silent or audible wake up, its great for this use; Time Management Tool for anyone who needs help managing their time.Cook's Tools & Gadgets
