We just had our 3rd unit fail. First one failed after 1-1/2 years in use, second one failed after 8-1/2 months use, 3rd one just failed after 8-1/2 months use. Although the company has been absolutely great about replacing these units @ no charge, we're getting frustrated removing and re-installing units and find the inconvenience of the down time quite annoying. Some interior electrical components overheat and begin melting insulation fortunately tripping the main breaker before further damage results.
Unit is installed per specifications with company supplied approved faucet and receives filtered water. We are not going to install another despite the fact #3 is still under warranty.
