I chose this as a small gift to go with the herb keeper. Since I haven't used it myself, I can't comment on how it works, but I thought it was hard to open, so I was a little disappointed. If I had been shopping in person I wouldn't have bought it. Also, I thought the picture was a little strange. You get one, and it's made of plastic. The top fits on the bottom VERY snugly. It would be easier to open if it screwed on. I hope my daughter likes it!

The 2 sides of the Garlic Saver attach by twist lock. Made of polystyrene plastic, these are phthalate and BPA-free. Dishwasher safe.
