I used the Hoover Deep Cleansing Carpet/Upholstery Detergent in my new Hoover steam cleaner. I had previously rented cleaners from Lowe's and Giant and bought whatever detergent went with the machine. My carpets were always pretty clean after using the rented units, but my new Hoover and this detergent definitely got them cleaner. The spots that had been in the carpet for years even came out. It also got out the pet odor from the two dogs in the house without creating a wet dog smell while the carpet was damp, as the rented unit and detergent had done.Customer Review: Great stain remover
