I was initially looking for a hooks with neodymium magnet (a powerful rare earth magnet), but decided to give these a try based on previous reviews, price, and Prime availability. They aren't strong enough to make moving or removing them a chore, but I couldn't be happier with their ability to grip tight to a fridge and hold just about anything with nary a slide or scoot. Unless you're looking for a way to hang dumbbells or want something to stick to stainless steal (magnets just won't stick to stainless), you'll be very happy with these.Customer Review: doesn't hold

I bought these based on other reviews that they are pretty strong and functional. I find this to be false. My keys (only 4 keys and no heavy keyring) stay on but the magnet is so weak that every time I lift my keys off, the whole hook comes off as well. Several times now I found the hook in my pocket or picked it up off the floor. This is a very weak magnet and I don't recommend it for the annoyance factor of having it come off every time I take thinks off the hook.Customer Review: Suitable for light-weight items

With metal cabinets in the kitchen, I wanted magnetic hooks on which to hang my measuring spoons. One hook for 1/4 teaspoons, one hook for 1/2 teaspoons, etc. These hooks are a suitable size for this. I have 3 to 4 measuring spoons on each hook and they work fine, however, the magnets are not strong enough to hold a plastic 1/4 cup measuring cup nor a small potholder, so consider the weight of what you are hanging before you buy.Customer Review: MAGNETIC HOOKS

I BOUGHT SEVERAL TOWELS AND POT HOLDERS THAT WERE SEWN TOGETHER AS CHRISTMAS GIFTS AND NEEDED A WAY TO HAND THEM. THEY WERE VERY PRETTY. I WRAPPED THE HOOKS INSIDE THE TOWELS SO THE GIFT GETTER WOULD NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT WHAT TO DO WITH THEM. THEY ARE HARD TO FIND. TOOK A LONG TIME TO GET THEM BUT WAS WORTH THE WAIT.Customer Review: Not very strong

I got these to hold my potholders on my fridge next to my stove. The potholders weight maybe 4 oz. Only 2 of the 5 that came in the pack would hold them up. Not worth the money, spend a little extra and buy stronger magnets. The two stars are for the two that actually worked like they should.
