Customer Review: Instructions for using one of these with your iPad

If you're like me you never take your iPad out of its case. (The matte black Apple one.) The thing is just too fragile and slippery to handle naked. Using a Hog Wild Peeramid as a holder for a cased iPad can be done, but only if you arrange the product in a way that doesn't cause it to slip from the too-tight bottom shelf. So, here's the answer: Put your iPad in landscape mode, then flip it upside down, so you're still reading in landscape with the unit inverted. Lock the screen in this position by double-clicking the action button and selecting the Lock icon. Now the cover of the case folds nicely back over the pyramid, while its screen faces you. The iPad is secure, so you needen't be constantly fiddling with the fit. Used this way, the on-the-whole rather cheesy but weightless Peeramid bookrest is probably the least expensive and most versatile way to use your iPad without having to hold it. Hugely liberating.
