The high-carbon stainless-steel 3-1/4-inch paring knife is ideal for paring, peeling, or slicing small fruits and vegetables--its high-carbon stainless-steel-alloy blade takes a super-sharp edge and stays sharp longer than other materials, and its high chromium content keeps it from staining. The peeler has a great curved finger guard to keep fingers safe, and both utensils have 18/8 stainless-steel satin-finished handles with a hole in the end for hanging on a utensil tool bar.
