This item just arrived yesterday. I got it to replace my plastic french press mug because I was sick of drinking coffee that tasted like plastic. So far, this is doing a wonderful job.
A couple notes: The picture on here doesn't do this justice. It's beautifully designed. The only downsides: It's smaller than the mug it's replacing -- I'd guess you get about 8 oz of brewed coffee out of every press. The glass isn't quite insulated well enough, so it's a little hot to hold when it's first brewed. Thicker glass or a handle would be a definite plus.
