I really can recommend this product, especially if you want to add protein powder to your Coffee!! (Betcha never thought of making your coffee into a Protein Drink, did you?
My husband has one at work; we have one at home. We found ours by chance at BJs Wholesale but I have seen them online.
This little thingie mixes the protein powder into coffee or milk or water BETTER than my stupid blender does! No gross globs of protein powder!
There are a lot of cons:
1) Base design is irritating; it's really hard to get the batteries out because it's hard to get the lid. You have to pry it off. It does not twist off. My advice is to leave one of the little cloth tabs that you use to pop the battery out outside of the base so you can pop off the base lid easier. (Bad English in that sentence, sorry!)
2) It eats through batteries, so use the best quality you can find.
Positives:
1) It mixes powders in like a dream! Put your liquids in FIRST, than add all powders. Does a bang-up job, FAR better than those stupid shaking things people use for protein drinks!
2) Cleans easily. Rinse out the top parts or put them on the top rack of your dishwasher and carefully run the mixing blade under hot water for a second.
3) You can use hot liquids like coffee in it!!!
4) The "tornado action" is fun to watch!
Its Pros far out weigh the Cons, in my opinion.
I would LOVE to find a more powerful version of this so if anyone knows of one, please let me know!
