Wow- a kitchen utensil that helps you turn over flat foods that you're frittering on the stove! Be it pancakes, burgers, or that over-easy fried egg, this wonderful gadget will save you plenty of time and second-degree burns! And not only that, you can use this bad-boy to (GASP!) remove food from the frying pan and place it right on your dinner plate! What a boon to mankind this indispensable tool is! It's almost like the very hand of God has... what's that? You grow weary of my sarcasm, you say? Oh, all right, I'll stop it now. Tell you what- the next paragraph will be more serious. That sound like a good deal to you? All right then, here we go... One big advantage of this spatula/turner thingy being made of stainless steel: I won't have to worry about it getting burned or misshapen should it somehow fall through the mesh of the dish baskets and end up next to or touching the dishwasher's heating element. Were it nylon, the resulting molten mess that used to be a useful bit of culinary equipment would be totaled. Fortunately, that's not a problem here! Well, the plastic handle might get scarred, but that's no biggie to me. I'd much rather the handle be toasted than the useful part of the utensil.
