Customer Review: Gorgeous Burnished Wood. What a Bargain!

I love these spatulas for stir fry. I took a risk buying them because I didn't think they could be good quality for the price, especially since they were 4-for-3 when I bought them (I bought 2 for myself and 2 other things to get the 4-for-3 deal).
They are smooth and this is such a difference between burnished and unburnished tools. I have used them to stir fry and have run them through the dishwasher. Just excellent. At the price I paid, if I had to replace them every few months I wouldn't be disappointed, but I really think these will last.
Really so pleased. You don't need to spend more than these. The angle on them is also perfect for stirring around a rounded pot or wok.

Helen's Asian Kitchen 13 stir fry spatula is stronger than wood and will not swell, split, or absorb moisture. Safe for use on non-stick surfaces or in high-heat¿ideal for use in woks or when making stir fry. The bamboo is treated through a special oven-roasting process which caramelizes the sugar in the bamboo, resulting in its beautiful honey color. Bamboo is one of the most renewable resources known. It is more durable and 16% harder than maple, and a third lighter in weight than oak. Dishwasher safe.A handy tool that's gentle on cookware, this stir-fry spatula from Helen's Asian Kitchen is crafted from natural bamboo for an ideal combination of strength and moderate weight. Efficient in action, the spatula works well for tossing and flipping stir-fry ingredients without scratching nonstick woks or scraping seasoned carbon steel ones. The 12-inch length keeps hands comfortably far from heat without sacrificing control, and the material is moisture-resistant.
