Customer Review: Great Alternative to an Expensive Heart Rate Monitor

I've wanted to do power analysis with my cycle training but can't justify spending the money to buy a heart rate monitor that logs heart rate data so I can download it onto my computer. I've used this logger from Oregon Scientific with my Oregon Scientific heart rate monitor and it has worked great. I then wrote a little program to convert it to an HRM file and it works great with my exercise/power analysis program. The data seems very accurate and I'm pleased with the results. It's nice that it synchs its clock to the PC every time I plug it in so I can synch it up with my power data.
I don't give it five stars because the clip that holds it to your belt or HR monitor strap is not very tight on my HR chest strap and it has fallen off once. I also wish it were water resistant for swimming.
